JWR is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded resort hotel in the search for an exceptional Hotel General Manager.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a substantial hospitality operation featuring over 130 bedrooms, extensive leisure and wellness facilities, multiple food and beverage outlets and a thriving meetings, events and conference business.
Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you will have full responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the hotel, leading a large management team whilst delivering exceptional guest experiences, financial results and team engagement.

The Role
As Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the hotel's performance, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards whilst maximising revenue, profitability and market share.
Leading a diverse operation encompassing bedrooms, leisure, spa, food and beverage and conference facilities, you will be a highly visible leader who inspires teams, drives commercial success and develops a culture of excellence.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Full P&L accountability
- Leadership and development of the senior management team
- Driving revenue growth across all business streams
- Delivering exceptional guest satisfaction scores
- Maximising conference, events and leisure revenues
- Managing budgets, labour costs and profitability
- Maintaining the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence
- Building strong relationships within the local business and hospitality community
The Candidate
We are keen to speak with experienced Hotel General Managers who possess:
- Proven success leading large-scale hotel or resort operations
- Experience within hotels featuring significant meetings and events business
- Strong knowledge of rooms, food and beverage and leisure operations
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen
- A track record of driving revenue growth and profitability
- Outstanding leadership, coaching and people development skills
- The ability to create exceptional guest experiences whilst delivering business objectives
