This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven hospitality professional to take ownership of both sales and marketing activity, helping to grow corporate, conference and events business while enhancing the hotel's presence within the local and regional market.
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities and working closely with marketing partners to maximise the hotel's visibility and commercial success.
The Role
As Hotel Sales & Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue across the hotel, developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts and overseeing marketing activity to support business growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing proactive sales strategies to increase corporate, conference, wedding and events revenue
* Building strong relationships with corporate clients, local businesses and event organisers
* Identifying and converting new business opportunities through networking, sales calls and client visits
* Conducting hotel show rounds and representing the hotel at exhibitions, trade shows and networking events
* Managing key accounts and maximising repeat business opportunities
* Working closely with operational teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
* Acting as the key point of contact for the hotel's external digital marketing agency
* Coordinating website updates, promotional campaigns and marketing activity
* Supporting the management of the hotel's social media presence and online brand visibility
* Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and local business opportunities
About You
We're looking for a confident and ambitious hospitality sales professional who can combine strong relationship-building skills with a proactive approach to marketing and business development.
You will ideally have:
* Previous hotel sales experience, ideally within corporate, conference or events sales
* Experience of generating new business and increasing revenue
* Strong networking, presentation and negotiation skills
* Experience working with digital marketing agencies or coordinating marketing activity
* Good understanding of social media, website content and local marketing initiatives
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A self-motivated and proactive approach
