Hotel General Manager - Liverpool

150+ Bedroom Branded Hotel | Busy F&B Operation

JWR is recruiting for an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead a substantial 150+ bedroom branded hotel in Liverpool.

This is a busy, commercially focused operation with a significant Food & Beverage business, and we are looking for a highly visible, hands-on General Manager who can lead from the front while maintaining a strong focus on revenue, profitability, guest experience and team performance.

The Role

Taking full responsibility for the hotel, you will lead the senior management team and drive performance across Rooms, Food & Beverage and the wider operation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Full operational and commercial responsibility for the hotel
• Driving revenue, GOP and overall profitability
• Leading a substantial and busy Food & Beverage operation
• Managing budgets, forecasting, payroll and departmental costs
• Working closely with Revenue and Sales to maximise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR
• Driving guest satisfaction and brand performance
• Developing and motivating the senior leadership team
• Ensuring consistently high operational and service standards
• Maintaining full compliance with brand standards and audits
• Building a strong, performance-led culture across the hotel

The Candidate

It is essential that candidates have previous management experience within a recognised branded hotel environment and understand the disciplines, systems, audits and performance expectations that come with operating within an international hotel brand.

You will ideally be an experienced General Manager, although we would also consider an exceptional Hotel Manager or Operations Director ready for their first GM appointment.

You should demonstrate:

• Previous experience within a branded hotel - essential
• Experience within a substantial 150+ bedroom hotel operation
• Strong F&B knowledge and experience of managing a busy food and beverage business
• Excellent commercial and financial understanding
• Strong knowledge of hotel P&Ls and key performance indicators
• A track record of driving revenue and profitability
• Strong people leadership and team development skills
• A hands-on, lead-from-the-front management style
• The energy, personality and commercial drive to lead a busy Liverpool hotel
