An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance function of a prestigious 400+ bedroom hotel.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel's engineering operation, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards while leading a skilled maintenance team and delivering major capital investment projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the Engineering & Maintenance team.
- Managing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across the hotel.
- Taking ownership of significant maintenance budgets and CAPEX programmes.
- Managing multiple contractors and specialist suppliers.
- Delivering large-scale refurbishment and construction projects with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Ensuring full statutory compliance and adherence to Health & Safety legislation.
- Driving continuous improvement and engineering best practice across the property.
About You
Currently working as a Maintenance Manager within a large-scale hotel environment.
- Experience managing the engineering function within a 400+ bedroom hotel, or a property of comparable scale and operational complexity.
- A proven track record of managing substantial maintenance budgets and CAPEX investment programmes.
- Experience overseeing multiple contractors and delivering major refurbishment and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, building services and Health & Safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and commercial management skills.
- The right to work in the UK
