Banqueting Sous Chef
Luxury 4-Star Resort | Warwickshire
£37,829 base salary | £40,125 including troncRelocation support for up to 3 months' accommodation on site
Are you an experienced Banqueting Sous Chef who thrives in a high-volume environment where no two days are the same?
We're looking for a resilient, hands-on chef to join the banqueting operation at a luxury 4-star resort in Warwickshire. This is a substantial operation, with up to 7 events running at the same time, including large-scale dinners, weddings and conferences.
The resort's largest space caters for up to 600 guests for a sit-down dinner and has its own dedicated banqueting kitchen. Alongside this, you'll work across a central banqueting kitchen with multiple satellite kitchens, supporting a large and experienced culinary team.
The Role
Working closely with the senior kitchen team, you'll help lead the banqueting operation, ensuring food is prepared and delivered to a consistently high standard across multiple events.
You'll be someone who can:
- Lead and support a large kitchen brigade in a high-volume resort environment.
- Coordinate multiple events and kitchens running simultaneously.
- Think on your feet and remain calm when the pressure is on.
- Maintain standards, organisation and service throughout busy operations.
- Develop and support the team through coaching, training and hands-on leadership.
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and events teams.
About You
This role would suit an experienced Banqueting Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef with a background in a large resort, high-volume hotel or cruise ship operation.
You'll need the experience to manage volume, lead a sizeable team and handle the demands of a busy events calendar. Just as importantly, you'll be resilient, adaptable and comfortable working as part of a team.
Candidates will need the right to live and work in the UK.
