JWR is recruiting an experienced Food & Beverage Manager for a high-quality hotel operation in the South West.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious F&B professional to take responsibility for a busy and diverse food and beverage operation, leading a sizeable team while delivering consistently high standards of service and commercial performance.
We are looking for someone who combines strong operational leadership with a genuine passion for hospitality. You will be highly visible within the business, working closely with the senior management team and taking ownership of service standards, team development, guest satisfaction and departmental profitability.

The Package
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 DOE + Service Charge

The Role
As Food & Beverage Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the hotel's food and beverage departments, including restaurant, bar, events and other associated outlets.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, motivating and developing the Food & Beverage team
• Ensuring consistently high standards of guest service across all outlets
• Managing recruitment, training, rotas and team performance
• Driving revenue while maintaining effective wage and cost controls
• Monitoring departmental budgets, forecasts and financial performance
• Working closely with the Executive Chef and wider hotel management team
• Maintaining strong food safety, licensing, health & safety and compliance standards
• Supporting the delivery of weddings, functions, events and private dining
• Reviewing guest feedback and implementing improvements where required
• Developing a positive, professional and service-focused culture within the department

Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You will ideally have:

• Previous F&B management experience within a quality hotel or similarly high-volume hospitality environment
• Experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets
• Strong leadership and people-development skills
• A hands-on and highly visible management style
• Good commercial awareness, including budgeting, payroll and cost control
• Experience delivering events, functions or weddings
• Excellent guest service standards
• The ability to lead from the front within a busy operation

This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys being operationally involved rather than managing solely from an office.
