Hotel Maintenance Manager - Luxury Hotel
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager to join a high-quality hotel operation, taking responsibility for the maintenance, compliance and overall upkeep of the property.Package

As Hotel Maintenance Manager, you will lead the day-to-day maintenance function, ensuring the hotel, plant, equipment and guest facilities are maintained to an excellent standard. This is a hands-on position requiring someone who can balance planned preventative maintenance with the demands of a busy operational hotel.
The Hotel Maintenance Manager will work closely with the General Manager and wider operational team, ensuring maintenance issues are dealt with quickly and effectively while developing a proactive approach to the long-term upkeep of the property.Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing all planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel
* Leading and developing the maintenance team
* Implementing and managing PPM schedules
* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements
* Managing contractors, suppliers and service agreements
* Monitoring maintenance budgets and controlling costs
* Overseeing plant, heating, electrical, plumbing and building systems
* Supporting refurbishment, renovation and capital projects
* Carrying out regular property inspections and identifying areas requiring investment
* Ensuring guest-facing maintenance issues are resolved quickly and professionally
* Working closely with operational departments to minimise disruption to guestsThe successful Hotel Maintenance Manager will ideally have previous experience within a quality hotel, resort or similar hospitality environment. You will need a broad understanding of building services and hotel engineering, alongside excellent organisational and people-management skills.
You should be practical and hands-on when required, but equally capable of managing contractors, compliance, budgets and longer-term maintenance projects.This would suit an experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager, Chief Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor or Deputy Maintenance Manager ready to take greater responsibility within a quality hotel environment.
