An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cluster Financial Controller to join a well-established and growing UK hotel group, overseeing the financial performance of a portfolio of quality hotels.
We are looking for a commercially astute, hands-on Cluster Financial Controller who can combine strong financial controls with genuine operational understanding, working closely with Hotel General Managers and senior leadership to drive profitability and business performance.

The Role
As Cluster Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for the financial management of multiple hotel properties, ensuring accurate reporting, robust financial controls and effective commercial decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the finance function across a cluster of hotels.
* Producing monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets and financial reports.
* Working closely with General Managers to maximise profitability and identify commercial opportunities.
* Monitoring payroll, departmental costs, margins and overall financial performance.
* Managing cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations and financial compliance.
* Leading, developing and supporting hotel-based finance teams.
* Ensuring consistent financial procedures, controls and reporting standards across the portfolio.
* Supporting capital expenditure planning and investment decisions.

The Candidate
We are seeking an established Cluster Financial Controller or an ambitious hotel Financial Controller ready to take the next step in their career.
You will ideally offer:
* A strong background in hotel finance, preferably within a multi-property environment.
* Previous experience as a Financial Controller within a quality hotel or hotel group.
* Excellent knowledge of hotel financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
* A commercially focused approach with the ability to influence operational management.
* Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
* Experience working with hotel accounting systems and advanced Excel.
* A recognised accounting qualification would be advantageous.
* Flexibility to travel between properties when required.
