Sous Chef
4 Star Hotel & Conference Centre
JWR is currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join our clients busy 4-star hotel & spa in the East Midlands, with a premium branded restaurant and conference centre.
As Sous Chef, you will need to have experience in large scale conference, banqueting & wedding venues and ideally have a branded fresh food restaurant background.
You will need to be a hands-on Sous Chef with the desire and drive to want to continue to develop your skills within the kitchen whilst helping to coach and develop junior chef. As Sous Chef you will be reporting directly to the Head Chef, where you will also lead and manage the team in their absence.
Required Skills:
- Experience within a branded environment preferred
- Proven experience with conference, banqueting and weddings
- Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
- Leading by example and develop the team around you
- Assist with the ordering and controlling of stock
- Passionate about food, standards & results
- Experience as a Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager within a similar environment
The Package / Benefits / Opportunities:
- From £27,000
- 44 hours per week
- Paid overtime
