The Job:
A boutique Country House Hotel within the Derbyshire area is seeking a Duty Manager to be responsible for the daily operation of 4-star resort in the of all areas of the hotel whilst ensuring the comfort and well-being of the guest.
This is a very hands-on role and requires an individual who wishes to be involved in every aspect of a hotel operation.
A great personality is key for this role with a warmth and ability to build rapport quickly with staff and guests.
You will drive the highest levels of customer service whilst ensuring the highest quality of product is constantly delivered.
The Essential Skills:
* Provide a point of contact for guests and residents and ensure all queries are dealt with effectively and quickly.
* Able to supervise and assist the restaurants with seating, meeting and greeting.
* To assist other departments in the hotel and spa and associated admin with daily requests.
* To ensure you are available for the arrival and departure of all day guests and members assisting main reception desks when required and answering guest queries.
* Security and fire checks around the building, following opening and closing procedures.
* Be readily available at all times to deal with problems or queries; handling complaints where necessary. Continually monitor and ensure that the highest quality of service is being delivered throughout each department.
* Be a confident enough to handle duty management shifts and be able to step in and assist both Front of house and Back of house at busy times
