Senior Sous Chef
Luxury Hotel and Country Club - East Sussex
JWR is excited to be working with a Luxury Hotel and Country club located in a beautiful area of Sussex, looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the team and assist the Executive Head Chef with the kitchen brigade and ensure an exceptionally high quality of food preparation and presentation for all outlets.
As Senior Sous Chef you will have to display individual style and flair to assist with developing all menus including, Fine dining 2 Rosette Restaurant, Brasserie, Lounge & Bar, Afternoon Tea, Conference & Banqueting and Room Service with a balance of classic and modern dishes, while using the best local & seasonal produce available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished Senior Sous Chef or experienced Sous Chef to join a highly successful property and stamp their identity on the restaurant.
Required Skills:
- Currently a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef within a similar role with a history of working within AA Rosette accreditation, large (100 plus covers) banqueting operation
- A history of developing a team
- Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction
- Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you
- Be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions
- Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
- Passionate about food, standards & results
- Excellent financial acumen to assist in maintaining company GP % and financial budgets and targets.

- Salary £35k Neg + Service charge + Bonus
