Stunning hotel & spa - Devon
I am currently working with an Award Winning property looking to recruit an experienced Reception Manager to set and maintain service standards, ensure guest satisfaction, sales conversion and maximise revenue for the Hotel set in a great location in Devon.
As Reception Manager you will manage operational practices and procedures to company standards whilst leading, developing and motivating the team to achieve company and personal goals.
As Reception Manager, you will play a big part in assisting the hotel in achieving its key accountability's relating to; Profitability, Quality, Staff & H&S.
As Reception Manager you will have excellent customer and interpersonal skills and be someone who is a natural team leader. In this role you will be responsible for managing all the operational aspects of the Reception Desk.
The successful candidate will ensure that the reception team provide an efficient and top-quality 5* service providing the ultimate guest service experience for all their customers.
As reception manager, your role will include the direct management of the reception team, preparation of rotas to ensure the delivery of exceptional front of house services in keeping with departmental budgets, attending weekly HOD meetings, staff recruitment, appraisals, development and disciplinary procedures.
Required Skills:
- Experience within a similar size property to 4/5*
- Assist in maximising occupancy, average spend and RevPAR.
- Develop and demonstrate sales techniques to improve revenue
- Support, coach and train the team as required.
- Maintain personal and health & safety records
- Fully understand and apply the company procedure in the event of fire.
- Ensure the team receive appropriate health and safety training.
- Carry out risk assessments for the department and report any unsafe equipment or activity.
- Good understanding or PMS & booking systems
- Naturally friendly and calm manner
- Confident personality
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service at all times
- Highly motivated with excellent organisational skills
