Privately owned Boutique Hotel - East Midlands
JWR is excited to be working with a stunning 46-bedroom boutique hotel located in the picturesque East midland's countryside, looking for an ambitious Head Chef to join the team and redefine the food offerings across the hotel in keeping with the hotel's views.
As Head Chef you will have to display individual style and flair across all menus including, breakfast, lunch, dinner & afternoon tea, creating modern, clean, healthy, well balanced & vibrant dishes using the best local & seasonal produce available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef to join a highly successful company and stamp their identity on the restaurant, working closely with the General manager in creating a 'talk of the town' destination.
Required Skills:
- Currently a Head Chef within a similar role
- Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking
- Very up to date with current food trends & styles.
- Adhere to food safety legislation
- Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction
- Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you
- Be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions
- Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
- Manage ordering and controlling of stock
- Passionate about food, standards & results
- Maintain company GP %
Salary:
- Up to £40,000 DOE + Additional Benefits
