Independent Tapas Restaurant - Leicester
JWR is currently working with a fresh food restaurant in Leicester serving high quality traditional tapas looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their team.
As the Sous Chef you will work closely with the Head Chef owner creating well balanced simple tapas dishes to bring customers the taste of Spain in an idyllic lake view restaurant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join an already highly successful company, working in a fun and friendly environment, producing vibrant flavour packed dishes.
Required Skills:
- Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef within a similar establishment
- Adhere to all company and government food safety legislation
- Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction
- Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you
- Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
- Proven track record in delivering high quality dishes in a time pressured environment
- Passionate about food, standards & results
- Creative and up to date with new food trends and concepts
