Required Skills:
- Currently a Head Chef OR Sous Chef within a similar role
- Experience with high volume banqueting, events & weddings.
- Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking
- Adhere to food safety legislation
- Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction
- Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you
- Be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions
- Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
- Manage ordering and controlling of stock
- Passionate about food, standards & results
- Maintain company GP %
JWR is excited to be working with a stunning boutique hotel located in the historic town of Stevenage, looking for an ambitious Head Chef to join their kitchen team.
As Head Chef you will work closely with the Group Exec Chef to be the driving force in providing the first class experiences the guests have come to expect and produce high-quality, well-balanced dishes across all menus while in keeping with the company's all day classic British Brasserie concept.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef to join a highly successful company and stamp their identity on the restaurant.
