As Head Chef in this super pub, you will work alongside an experienced General Manager with a passion for the business focusing on traditional, high quality British pub food.As Head Chef, you will need to be hands on and want to continue to develop your skills within the kitchen whilst recruiting your own team, helping to lead, coach & inspire them to deliver great food and create memorable experiences.
This role would suit someone from a gastro/Premium branded pub/restaurant background.
The property is based in a popular area and loved by the locals, whilst also attracting those visiting the area and offers wonderful and classic pub features, serving freshly cooked food and delicious beers with stunning garden areas and letting rooms. Strong turnover, so high-volume experience essential.- Currently a Head Chef within a similar busy premium pub environment
- Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking.
- Adhere to company & food safety legislation.
- Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction.
- Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you.
- Have the ability to work under pressure with a proven track record in delivering high quality dishes in a time pressured environment.
- Be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions.
- Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
- Manage ordering and controlling of stock.
