The Hotel has recently undergone extensive refurbishment and investment to re-position itself as one of the leading 4* Luxury family hotels in the area. The seven-figure investment has seen improvements across all areas of the property including bedrooms, public areas, kitchen, bar & restaurant and additional facilities.As Sous chef, you will have bags of ambition, drive and energy, whilst being experienced in working within a busy kitchen environment to deliver a modern British and European menu within their brasserie style restaurant showcasing Cornwall's finest produce.
As Sous Chef in this talented team, you will be overseeing a team of Chefs, reporting directly to the Head Chef, where you will lead and manage the team in their absence. You will need to be hands on and want to continue to develop your skills within the kitchen whilst helping to coach and develop junior chefs.
This is an exciting time to be part of a great brigade in a stunning Cornish location. Shift patterns will include a mixture of straights and splits, immediate start date available

- Proven track record in delivering high quality dishes in a time pressured environment
- Assist with the ordering and controlling of stock
- Passionate about food, standards & results
- Experience as a Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager within a similar environment
