Personal Assistant to the Owner
Award-winning Hotel & Restaurant - Devon
JWR is excited to be working with this stunning Country House Restaurant with Rooms located in the picturesque countryside of Devon, looking to recruit an experienced and highly organized Personal Assistant to join their luxury property and support the Owner with Events, Enquiries, Social Media & admin
As an experienced Personal Assistant (not just with secretarial experience) you will have good educational qualifications and high English standards with a proven versatility and competence in your working background as a Personal Assistant.
Whilst an experienced Personal Assistant is preferable, a bright, very intelligent high achiever with a secretarial background to senior level management and ambition for promotion to a Personal Assistant may also be an acceptable alternative.
Working closely with the team, as PA you will be the first point of contact for the Owners and therefore be able to communicate confidently and effectively whilst managing and prioritising a busy workload.
A background in hospitality is preferable, however not essential. Working Hours: Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 6pm (38 hours)
Required Skills:
- Provide full administrative support to the Owners and General Manager, overseeing the effective management of their diaries.
- To aid the owner with all social media posts, to respond to social media guest enquiries and to research and reach out to various influencers and members of the press to encourage a positive buzz around the property.
- Plan meetings and projects
- Review emails, action when possible, ensuring quick, timely and appropriate decisions are made. Screen calls as required.
- Ensure Owners are fully prepared in advance for all necessary meetings.
- Meet and greet guests & visitors on behalf of Owners.
- Manage general hotel correspondence in timely fashion.
- Maintaining a suitable and effective filing system for all records ensuring the business remains compliant with GDPR.
- Knowledge of working within a hotel/hospitality-based business and advantage.
The Package / Benefits / Opportunities:
