I am delighted to be working with a well known hotel brand , located in County Durham recruiting for an Operations Manager. This role would suit an F&B Manager looking for their first Operations Manager position but you must have worked in a large property with strong F&B outlets - preferably Branded.
A modern, stylish hotel with around 100 bedrooms, Restaurant, Bar, leisure and meeting facilities for up to 300 guests where the team take pride in ensuring the best customer service is delivered in the most comfortable surroundings.
* As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the F&B including Kitchen and Front of house operations. You will be able to show us your passion for and understanding of total hotel operations including Rooms.
* This is a very hands on role within the hotel & needs an Operations Manager who has a very strong C&B background for meetings and smaller events.
* You will also deputise for the General Manager who also has a very hands-on approach in the operation.
* With a dedicated team, you will be on the floor, leading the team and being very hands on throughout your shift.
* Take responsibility for Health and Safety within the F&B areas and enforce all food hygiene/health & safety/fire regulations, attending any training as required
You will need:
* A stable career within a corporate, ideally branded hotel as F&B or Operations Manager
* Have a strong Food and Beverage Background with a good knowledge of running a busy banqueting operation as well as Rooms and Housekeeping.
