JWR is currently working with an award winning, boutique country hotel looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to support the Head Chef in the smooth running of day to day within a busy well-established kitchen.
Located within the Forrest of Dean, surrounded by acres of beautiful meadows, this stunning Boutique, Country Hotel offers approx. 20 bedrooms and serves a delicious menu, focusing on produce sourced locally within a 20-mile radius of the property.
As Chef de Partie, have a great knowledge of freshly produced food and you will be experienced in working with the finest quality free range and organic produce, making full use of the available ingredients that are at your disposal from local suppliers.
As Chef de Partie you will need a hands-on approach and be able to offer your skill-set and experience to elevate an already well renowned, busy establishment.
As Chef de Partie, you will have ambition, determination, drive and energy, whilst being up to date with current food trends and want to be part of something special whilst continuing to develop your own skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Previous experience from a similar environment, with a solid understanding of working with fresh ingredients & produce.
Previous experience working within a one or two Rosette standard operation would help but is not essential.
Always run the kitchen to the highest standard.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with the Head Chef's directions.
Minimise wastage through proper stock control and menu development.
Experience that demonstrates well established technical know-how.
A broad knowledge of allergies and general health and safety within a kitchen environment.
