The Job:
A modern and stylish hotel in the Birmingham area is looking for a "Duty Manager" to be very hands on and to be involved in every aspect of a hotel operation based within a limited-service hotel.
My client requires a Duty Manager to be a very hands on individual & who wishes to be involved in every aspect of a hotel operation, from front desk attendant, to barista, to greeter, to bartender, and everything in between within a limited service hotel in the Solihull area.
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for supporting all the departments with the daily operation of the hotel.
You will be part of a team to provide the highest levels of customer service whilst ensuring the highest quality of product is constantly delivered too.
You must be able to supervise the breakfast operation as well as meet and greet guests, check in & out, take care of minor technical requests (e.g. safe, door lock, fuse problems) as well as
act as a mentor for new team members and ensure training is complete and refreshed when
required within this 200-bedroom hotel.
What are we looking for ……
We need someone to be a point of contact for guests and residents and ensure all queries are dealt with effectively and quickly.
You must have experience of working in every department of a hotel in both front of house and back of house.
Knowledge of Opera and Micros will be an advantage.
Have a desire and passion to learn all about the hotel operations to develop and progress your career into whichever avenue you desire but have the foundation and training to do this !
