I am delighted to be working with a well known hotel company situated in Darlington who are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager with a good knowledge of managing Food and Beverage and reception and housekeeping teams. This role would suit an Operations Manager looking for career progression to be a General Manager in 12-18 months.
This is a modern, stylish hotel with around 100 bedrooms, Restaurant, Bar, Leisure and meeting facilities for up to 300 guest, where the team take pride in ensuring the best customer service is delivered in the most comfortable surroundings.
* As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the F&B including Kitchen and Front of house operations. You will be able to show us your passion for and understanding of total hotel operations.
* This is a very hands-on role within the hotel & needs an Operations Manager who has a very strong rooms background.
* You will also deputise for the General Manager who also has a very hands-on approach in the operation too.
* With a dedicated team, you will be on the floor, leading the team and being very visible throughout your shift.
* Take responsibility for Health and Safety within all areas and enforce all food hygiene/health & safety/fire regulations, attending any training as required.
You will need:
* A stable career within a branded hotel as Operations Manager with an ambition to become a Hotel Manager in the future.
* Must have experience of managing Housekeeping and Reception at a higher level as we already have strong HOD's in place but need support with guest feedback, driving members recognition and enrolment onto the reward scheme as well as driving Brand standards.
* Has a strong Food and Beverage Background with a good knowledge of running a banqueting operation
