ROLE: Independent Hotel Business Development Manager
LOCATION: Lincolnshire
SALARY:Up to £45,000 per year plus Bonus up to 10% of salary.
Looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER who has experience of sales & revenue management to manage rooms rates & strategy for a popular Independent 50-bedroom hotel with small meeting rooms up to 100 guests
Someone who has events sales experience to line manage the reception and sales team as well as develop the sales pipeline to convert enquiries.
You will also be responsible for proactively selling the hotel and networking with agents and find new business.
This hotel has a good mixture of market segment with a primary focus on Meeting and Events Sales.
You will spend most of your time in the office on the phone, driving sales into the hotel but this role can be hybrid 1-2 max days WFH especially in the quieter winter months.
The role requires:
* you to have the ability to demonstrate a proven track record of proactive & reactive sales as well as account management for a variety of corporate companies across the UK.
* you to motivate & develop the onsite sales team and to work as a team
* you to be commercially aware, understanding the importance of working within costs & departmental budgets.
* an individual to develop and grow new & existing business with a key focus on the Residential Conference & Day Delegate markets and large international clients.
* Previous experience of producing a Sales & Marketing Strategy and be able to demonstrate the effectiveness if your results.
* A self-driven Business Development Manager who is able to work within a small team and be able & willing to be 'hands-on' at times.
