The Client:
An excellent four-star hotel with exceptional facilities for both business & leisure guests, situated in the south of Birmingham. You will need your own transport due to the location of the hotel.
The Job:
My client requires an experienced Operations Manager reporting directly to the General Manager. As Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing the operational management team. You will drive the highest levels of customer service in the Restaurant, Bar, Conference and Events whilst ensuring the highest quality of product is constantly delivered.
The Essential Skills:
* Must have previous 4 star hotel Operations Manager experience, managing the daily operation of the Restaurant, Bar , Conferences, Events, Private Dinners and Weddings
* Must have the capability to lead from the front and be a strong, credible leader and drive standards
* Possess very strong F&B knowledge and good C&B knowledge, with a good experience of a quality food operation but also possessing a broad background of all other areas within the business
* Must be commercially astute
* A proven track record of mentoring and developing talent within the operation
* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, with guests, colleagues & senior management
* Must be passionate about the hospitality industry & constantly delivering top class customer service

The Package / Benefits / Opportunities:
The Operations Manager position offers an annual salary between £28,000 and £30,000 and excellent company benefits.
In line with UK employment law, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction and be able to work in the West Midlands area.
