JWR is currently working with a top luxury boutique hotel in a stunning part of Cornwall, looking to recruit an experienced, passionate, service oriented and hands on Head Housekeeper to oversee the HK operation across two properties consisting of around 30 bedrooms.Salary/Benefits

The hotels bedrooms and guest area's cleanliness are of utmost importance and standards must be consistent and high.
As Head Housekeeper must have good communication skills, the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, excellent organisational skills, the ability to delegate and manage employees effectively as well as leading by example at all times.
Reporting to the General Manager, as Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the Housekeeping Department of the hotels, to ensure that the department runs smoothly and delivers the minimum standards set by the Company, therefore enabling a first class service to guests at all times in line with hotel standards and procedures, and so ensuring a successful service of all housekeeping activities within the business, including all Hotel Bedrooms, and all Public Areas
Required Skills:
- Experience in a supervisory/management role within a 4/5* property
- Experience in successfully managing a HK team, with the ability to guide the team and lead from the front delivering the highest of standards & consistency
- Able to prioritise their workload and has the ability to work in a busy environment
- Strong work ethic, making sure that the guest experience is fulfilled with any reasonable request carried out quickly and to the highest standard
- Great attention to detail, takes pride in their performance and strives to provide the highest levels of cleanliness at all times
