Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead the team at a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Central London. This is a rare opportunity to take the helm of a globally recognised property known for its elegance, service excellence, and world-class guest experiences.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and financial performance of the hotel. You will champion guest satisfaction, team engagement, and commercial success while upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all hotel operations including Rooms Division, F&B, Spa, and Events
- Lead a team of senior department heads to deliver exceptional guest service
- Drive profitability through strategic planning, revenue management, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and brand standards
- Develop and implement business strategies in alignment with owner and brand goals
- Represent the hotel at industry events and within the wider London hospitality scene
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as General Manager or Hotel Director in a luxury 5-star property
- Proven track record in leading high-performing teams in a branded or independent hotel
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Dynamic leadership style with a focus on guest experience and team development
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of London's luxury hospitality market is essential
