Package: c£40,000 UK base + performance bonus + relocation assistanceAbout the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hotel Operations Manager to oversee a boutique resort hotel located just 45 mins from the Bern region of Switzerland. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a dynamic hospitality professional with a strong operational background and a particular strength in Front Office management.As the Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and commercial performance across the property. You will work closely with owners and department heads to ensure consistent delivery of guest experience, effective cost control, and ongoing team development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operational oversight across a boutique resort hotels (Total Bedroom Stock 113 max).
Champion customer excellence, ensuring high standards and innovative guest experiences.
Implement hotel-wide policies and best practices to achieve consistency and efficiency.
Drive revenue growth through operational improvements, cost management, and guest satisfaction.
Act as the key liaison between ownership and on-site leadership teams.
Candidate Profile
Hospitality degree (or equivalent professional qualification) Essential.
fluent in English and German (Essential)
Strong operational or Front Office experience within the luxury or resort hotel sector.
Demonstrated expertise at operations Manager Level.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to relocate to the Bern region; relocation assistance is provided.
