M&E Operations Manager - 4-star Hotel - Coventry - £30k
A very busy and well known 4-star hotel situated near Coventry is recruiting for an experienced Meeting & Events Operations Manager to oversee the daily operation of the busy Conference and Banqueting department.
The Essential Skills:
* You will manage and oversee the daily operation of a variety of events across the calendar year; ensuring that the very highest levels of customer satisfaction are always maintained.
* This hotel is a very popular wedding destination which is very capable of hosting two weddings every weekend, welcoming residential conference delegates and day visitors to the area as well as help to make family celebrations successful and memorable!
* If you have a stable career within meetings & events operations, love running weddings, Christmas party nights, meetings and conferences, then this is the job for you!
Personal qualities required are:
* This job does require you to be flexible in dealing with work demands & changing priorities.
* You will have a team to look after and ensure that rotas meet the needs of the business as well as your staff.
* Previous experience of working in a busy Wedding venue or Hotel Conference operation is essential.
* The ability to supervise and lead a team within a fast-paced environment.
* Be self-driven, able to work within a large team and be willing to be always 'hands-on'.
* Have a good knowledge of working function bars and managing the levels of demand at peak times.
* Have excellent personal presentation.
* Understand the importance of working within costs & be highly organised.
* Be an excellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail.
The Package / Benefits / Opportunities
An annual salary £30,000, negotiable for the right person + on-site parking, meals on duty , uniform and other company benefits
