Luxury Family Hotel - Cornwall
JWR are excited to be working with a leading, independent and forward-thinking collection of Luxury Hotels across the South West, looking to recruit an experienced Restaurant & Bar / F&B Manager for their property in a stunning Cornish location.
The Hotel has recently undergone extensive refurbishment and investment to re-position itself as one of the leading 4* Luxury family hotels in the area, launching earlier this year. The seven-figure investment has seen improvements across all areas of the property including bedrooms, public areas, kitchen, bar & restaurant and additional facilities.
As Restaurant & Bar / F&B Manager, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key part in the recruitment, training and developing of the F&B team, ensuring they deliver an exceptional service to all its guests. You will already be an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager, with previous experience within a 4/5 Star family focused property, looking for their next challenge. You will identify and maximise all sales opportunities and develop your team to do the same.
As Restaurant & Bar / F&B Manager, you will have a strong commercial understanding whilst controlling operational costs and maximising profitability, leading your team with a hands-on approach.
Boasting amazing sea views, the restaurant can regularly serve 120+ covers for breakfast and dinner, showcasing the best locally sourced Cornish produce. You will be working in one of the top locations in the area, with incredible views of Cornwall, with world class surf right outside.
This is a key position within the business, so the successful candidate has to be extremely hard working, dedicated and committed to go the extra mile for their guests, a real people's person, but very much a hands-on as this is not an office role.
Required Skills:
- Previous experience from a similar size and standard property
- Hands on with a positive attitude
- Experience of maximising all sales opportunities and leading the team to do the same.
- Sound financial knowledge & understanding of GP's and cost control.
- Ability to lead, motivate and inspire teams whilst continually training & developing.
- Ensure restaurant is presented to the highest standard and always delivering the best possible service.
- Good knowledge of quality food & wine, up to date with current trends
- Industry related qualifications
