ROLE: Reception Manager
LOCATION: Near Stratford Upon Avon
SALARY: circa £30,000 per year plus Incentives and Employee Benefits
Join our dynamic team as a Reception Manager at a luxurious 4-star hotel nestled in the picturesque Warwickshire countryside. Renowned for hosting corporate events, private social gatherings, and weddings, our hotel offers full leisure facilities to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.
As the Reception Manager, you will lead a team of 6 on the front desk, including switchboard and a Reservations Coordinator, overseeing the seamless operation of daily shifts.Your responsibilities will include:
* Management and analysis of guest satisfaction levels
* Maximise room occupancy, recognising guests needs to promote hotel services and in-house facilities including Restaurant and Health Spa.
* Setting of Reception departmental objectives, policies and targets and rotas
* Ensure Reception Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area.
* Evaluating the performance of the Reception team.
* Communicating with Management regarding employee and customer service issues
Personal qualities required for a Reception Manager are:
* Knowledge of Reslynx will be an advantage but not essential if you have used other similar hotel systems.
* Previous experience of managing a reception team in a hotel.
* Ideally from a hotel environment and able to work early and late shifts are essential.
* The ability to supervise and lead a team within a fast-paced environment.
* Be an excellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail, able to work within a team and be willing to be always 'hands-on'.
* Have excellent personal presentation.
