ROLE: Reception Manager - A luxury country house hotel
LOCATION: Pitlochry, Perthshire
SALARY: £32,000 per year including bonus and incentives
A luxury country house hotel situated within the stunning Perthshire countryside are looking for an experienced Reception Manager to join the team. The hotel has resort style accommodation which is used as a small exclusive timeshare surrounded by picturesque villages.
* We need a Reception Manager or Head of Reception who can lead a small team of receptionists and night staff to provide the very best guest experience at all times, from arrival to departure.
* You will be managing the daily operation of reception and small shop, ensuring the smooth running of shifts. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week working 5 days out of 7. This will include weekends on a rota basis - something you will be responsible for.
* Other responsibilities will include organising, recording and monitoring all purchases relating to the resort reception, administration and onsite Shop.
* Management and analysis of guest satisfaction levels by looking past the front desk and in other areas too.
* Present a welcoming impression to our guests by all reception staff both on the telephone and in person.
* Communicating with Management regarding employee and customer service issues
Personal qualities required are:
* Previous experience of managing a reception team of 6 at Manager or Supervisor level, from a similar environment
* The ability to supervise and lead a team within a fast-paced environment.
* Be self-driven, able to work within a team and be willing to be always 'hands-on'
