Role
We're looking for an experienced and inspiring Multi-Site General Manager to lead two sister venues in the heart of a historic village in Wiltshire. These iconic inns, rich with Georgian charm and over 200 years of history, each offer something special to locals and visitors alike - from hearty, freshly cooked food and perfectly kept cask ales, to stylish en-suite guest rooms and beautiful outdoor spaces.
One site features a large garden with a heated canopy, creating an all-weather space for dining and events, while the other offers a welcoming courtyard and traditional interior perfect for cosy gatherings and community occasions. Together, they provide a complete village hospitality experience - serving tourists, families, and locals throughout the year.Responsibilities
As General Manager, you'll be responsible for:- Overseeing both sites to ensure smooth operations and consistently high standards across food, beverage, and accommodation.
- Leading, developing, and motivating two dedicated teams, creating a positive culture and inspiring excellence.
- Driving commercial success through effective business planning, marketing initiatives, and exceptional service delivery.
- Maintaining guest satisfaction, ensuring that every visitor receives a warm welcome and memorable experience.
- Managing finances, compliance, and operational standards to achieve sustainable growth.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who is:- A proven General Manager with experience running multiple sites or a large, complex hospitality business.
- A strong leader who leads by example, communicates clearly, and fosters teamwork and pride.
- Commercially astute, able to analyse performance and implement plans that grow sales and profitability.
- Organised and adaptable, skilled at managing priorities across two busy sites.
- Passionate about hospitality, with an eye for detail and a genuine love for great food, drink, and service.
- Experience with managing rooms or boutique accommodation is desirable but not essential.
