The Role

As the Hotel Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation, safety, and upkeep of all hotel facilities. Responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating the maintenance function across the property

• Managing planned and reactive maintenance to brand and legislative standards

• Overseeing contractors, budgets, and compliance documentation

• Ensuring the hotel's building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, joinery) operate effectively

• Maintaining a safe environment for guests and colleagues

• Supporting sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives

• Working collaboratively with all departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience

Requirements -

• Previous experience as a Hotel Maintenance Manager / Assistant Hotel Maintenance Manager

• Relevant qualifications in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, joinery or similar)

• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and respond proactively to changing needs

• A hands-on, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills

• Outstanding communication skills in English and a professional, well-presented manner

• Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to maintaining the very highest standards

• Collaborative team approach and ability to support colleagues across all departments
