Salary: £40,000 + excellent service charge and company benefits
Start Date: End of January / Early February 2026
Progression: Development into Operations Manager within 12 months

The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Food and Beverage Manager to join a beautiful boutique country house hotel located near Slough in Berkshire

This role is ideal for an energetic hospitality professional with a genuine passion for service, exceptional guest focus, and the drive to lead from the front. Working within an award-winning hotel group, you will take ownership of the hotel's F&B operations while developing the skills to step into an Operations Manager role within the next year.

The Role

• Lead all F&B operations across the restaurant, bar, lounges, events, and private dining.

• Deliver consistently high service standards through hands-on leadership and team coaching.

• Drive staff training, development, engagement, and performance monitoring.

• Maintain excellent communication across all departments and with senior leadership.

• Take responsibility for commercial and financial areas including:

  • Wage and rota control

  • Food and beverage stock management

  • Supplier ordering and negotiations

  • Reducing wastage and maximising profitability

• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of all guest-facing operations with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.

• Work closely with the hotel's GM to support wider operational goals and prepare for progression into the Operations Manager role.

About You

• Current Food and Beverage Manager, Deputy F&B Manager, from a quality boutique hotel environment.

• Hands-on leader with a warm, guest-focused approach.

• Passionate about service excellence and team development.

• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in cost control and F&B financial management.

• Confident communicator with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire your team.
