ROLE: Meetings & Events Manager - Hotel
LOCATION: Coventry
SALARY: £40 -45k per year
Our client is a prestigious, independently owned four-star hotel in Coventry, renowned for delivering exceptional meetings, conferences and events. They are now seeking an experienced Meetings & Events Manager to lead a high-profile department that sits at the very heart of the hotel's operation.
With an impressive portfolio of event spaces, large-scale conference facilities, extensive outside catering and access to a unique historic venue nearby, this role offers real variety, scale and challenge. It's a fantastic opportunity for a confident, highly organised events professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
The Role
* Oversee the planning and delivery of meetings, conferences and events for up to 300 guests
* Manage complex daily logistics across multiple venues
* Lead, motivate and develop a large operational team of up to 60 staff at peak periods
* Coordinate suppliers and external partners to ensure flawless execution
* Deliver outstanding guest experiences while maintaining commercial and operational standards
About You
* A proven Meetings & Events Manager with a strong, stable background in large hotels or conference centres
* Experienced in managing high-volume events and sizeable teams
* Exceptionally organised, calm under pressure and detail-driven
* Confident managing multiple stakeholders, suppliers and operational demands
* Highly customer-focused with strong communication and leadership skills
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is not a first-step role - it's a senior, hands-on position suited to someone ready to take ownership of a flagship meetings and events operation and truly make their mark.
