The Deputy Head Housekeeper Role
As Deputy Head Housekeeper, you will support the Head Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that the highest levels of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved. You will play a key role in supervising staff, maintaining standards, and driving continuous improvement across all housekeeping functions.Key Deputy Head Housekeeper Responsibilities
* Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department
* Lead, motivate, and develop a large housekeeping team, including supervisors, room attendants, and public area staff
* Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet the hotel's luxury standards at all times
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality control
* Support recruitment, training, and performance management of team members
* Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
* Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
* Deputise for the Head Housekeeper in their absenceAbout You
* Proven experience in a senior housekeeping role within a luxury hotel environment
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
