About the Role
Our client is seeking a commercially driven and analytically minded Revenue & Commercial Manager to join our growing hotel group in East Sussex areas. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue performance, optimising pricing strategies, and maximising overall profitability across our property/properties.You will play a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy, working closely with senior leadership, sales, marketing, and operations teams to deliver sustained revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximise RevPAR, TRevPAR, and ADR performance
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to inform pricing and inventory decisions
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning processes
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive occupancy and total revenue across all segments
- Optimise distribution channels, including OTAs, direct booking platforms, and corporate partnerships
- Produce regular performance reports and present insights to senior stakeholders
- Identify new revenue opportunities across rooms, F&B, events, and ancillary services
- Ensure best practices in revenue management systems and tools
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a Revenue or Commercial Manager role within the hospitality sector
- Strong background in hotel revenue management is highly preferred
- Demonstrable expertise in RevPAR, TRevPAR, ADR, and overall commercial performance metrics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
- Experience with revenue management systems and distribution platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially astute with a proactive and results-driven mindset
Desirable
- Multi-property or group hotel experience
- Experience working in independent or branded hotel environments
- Knowledge of the East Sussex or wider UK hospitality market
