As Human Resources Director, you will operate as a key member of the senior leadership team, shaping and delivering the people strategy across a portfolio of distinctive properties. This is a hands-on role offering both strategic influence and operational involvement, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, service-led environment.Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a forward-thinking HR strategy aligned with business growth plans
* Partner closely with senior stakeholders and hotel General Managers to drive performance through people
* Lead on talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development
* Champion employee engagement, culture, and retention initiatives
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law and best practice HR policies
* Oversee all aspects of employee relations, performance management, and organisational development
* Manage and mentor a small HR team, fostering a high-performance cultureThe Candidate
* Proven experience as a senior HR leader, within Hotels or Hospitality
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at board level
* Hands-on approach with a willingness to be visible and present across sites
* In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation
* Demonstrated success in driving engagement and cultural transformation
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
