We're working with an exciting, high-profile premium dining destination to recruit a talented Sous Chef to support a high-performing kitchen team.This is a key leadership role, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver an exceptional guest dining experience to corporate guests, associations and leisure travellers. You'll be hands-on in service, lead and develop the brigade, uphold impeccable food standards and help drive consistency, creativity and operational excellence across the kitchen.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations and leading in their absence
* Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency using fresh ingredients and supporting with the creation of seasonal menus across a range of dining experiences.
* Supervising, training and motivating the kitchen team
* Assisting with ordering and stock control
* Ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
About you:
* Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a 4* / 5* or quality-led environment
* A natural leader with a positive, professional approach
* Excellent development opportunities for a Sous Chef looking to progress towards a future Head Chef position.
