Accounts Manager (Assistant Financial Controller) - 3/4/5 Days Per Week - Croydon/Hayes area, Surrey

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (Pro Rata for Part-Time)
Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-Time or Part-Time Options Available)
Location: Croydon/Hayes area

Are you an experienced Accounts Manager with a background in the hotel or hospitality sector? We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team at a well-established, high-performing hotel in the Croydon/Hayes area.

Whether you're seeking a full-time role or prefer the flexibility of part-time (3 or 4 days per week), we'd love to hear from you!


What You'll Be Doing as the Accounts Manager :

  • Supporting the General Manager with daily accounting operations

  • Handling accounts payable and receivable

  • Assisting with bank reconciliations, revenue audits, and month-end processes

  • Preparing financial reports and supporting the budgeting process

  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies

  • Liaising with department heads and providing financial insight


What We're Looking For in a Accounts Manager :

  • Previous finance experience within a hotel or hospitality environment is essential

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and software (e.g. Sage, Opera, or similar PMS/finance systems)

  • A high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a close-knit team
