James Webber Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead a successful branded hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Hotel General Manager who has a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams and driving business results.As Hotel General Manager, you will have full responsibility for all aspects of the hotel's operation, ensuring brand standards are consistently exceeded while delivering strong financial performance across rooms, food & beverage, meetings and events.
Working closely with senior leadership, the successful Hotel General Manager will be responsible for maximising revenue, controlling costs, developing the management team and creating an engaging culture that delivers outstanding service for both guests and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
* Deliver budgeted revenue, profit and EBITDA targets.
* Maintain and exceed all brand standards, guest satisfaction and quality audits.
* Drive commercial performance across rooms, food & beverage, meetings and events.
* Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing management team.
* Create a positive culture focused on engagement, retention and career development.
* Monitor KPIs, forecast business levels and implement strategies to maximise profitability.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, health & safety legislation and brand requirements.
* Build strong relationships within the local market to generate new business opportunities.The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager within a recognised branded hotel group.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting and P&L.
* A proven track record of improving guest satisfaction, RevPAR and profitability.
* Experienced in leading large operational teams across all hotel departments.
* Passionate about coaching, developing and retaining talent.
* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
