Are you an experienced Hotel Sales Manager or Business Development Manager looking for greater flexibility without losing the excitement of being out in the market?
We're recruiting for a Cluster Business Development Manager to join a well-established collection of premium 4-star hotels. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business and developing key corporate and events accounts across multiple properties.
This is a genuine hybrid role, giving you the autonomy to manage your own diary while remaining highly visible within your local market.
The Role
Working across a small cluster of hotels, you will be responsible for growing corporate, meetings, conference and events revenue by:
* Developing new corporate business opportunities
* Managing and growing existing local and national accounts
* Identifying new revenue streams within your territory
* Conducting regular client appointments and sales calls
* Attending networking events, exhibitions and industry functions
* Building strong relationships with businesses, agencies and event organisers
* Working closely with hotel operational teams to maximise conversion and customer satisfaction
* Approximately 70% of your time will be customer-facing, visiting hotels and clients, with the remaining 30% spent working remotely from home.
About You
You'll already have experience selling within the hotel sector and understand how to generate business across meetings, conferences, events and corporate accommodation.
We're particularly interested in candidates with:
* Experience in hotel sales, business development or account management
* A proven track record of achieving sales targets
* Strong knowledge of meetings, events and corporate business
* Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
* A proactive, self-motivated approach
* The flexibility to travel across your hotel cluster
* A full UK driving licence
