We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Weddings and Events Sales Executive to join the sales team at a stunning country house hotel renowned for hosting elegant weddings, celebrations and special occasions.

The Role
As the Weddings and Events Sales Executive, you'll be the first point of contact for couples and clients from their initial enquiry through to the planning and confirmation of their special day.
Working closely with the wider Sales and Operations teams, you'll build lasting relationships with clients, conduct inspiring showrounds, coordinate event details and ensure every wedding and celebration is planned to perfection.
This is a varied role combining sales, planning and customer service, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on both the guest experience and the commercial success of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all wedding and special event enquiries from initial enquiry through to confirmation and planning
- Conduct engaging hotel show rounds, showcasing the venue and its facilities
- Build strong relationships with couples and event organisers throughout their planning journey
- Prepare proposals, contracts and event documentation with exceptional attention to detail
- Coordinate final event details and produce accurate function sheets for operational teams
- Attend weekly function meetings and communicate event requirements across departments
- Maximise every sales opportunity through effective up-selling and cross-selling
- Ensure all enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally
- Support clients throughout the planning process and provide a warm welcome on the day of their event
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless event delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction
About You
We're looking for a passionate and organised hospitality professional who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 12 months' experience within a Weddings & Events Sales or Events Coordination role
- Previous experience within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- The ability to work calmly under pressure whilst maintaining exceptional service standards
- A positive, enthusiastic and commercially aware approach
