Are you a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager who enjoys developing teams, raising standards and driving performance?
We're recruiting for an experienced F&B leader to join a busy 4-star hotel with a strong restaurant, bar and meetings & events operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who isn't afraid of a busy environment and thrives on exceeding targets while building a culture of accountability and exceptional guest service.
The Role
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll take ownership of the hotel's Food & Beverage operation, leading the restaurant, bar, breakfast and conference & banqueting teams.The hotel already has a solid foundation, but there is real scope to develop the operation further. You'll be empowered to introduce fresh ideas, improve standards and coach the team to perform with greater confidence and autonomy.
Key areas of focus include:
* Coaching and developing the team, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
* Raising service standards and creating a culture of ownership and accountability.
* Growing the daytime bar business through new ideas, promotions and enhanced guest experiences.
* Challenging the evening operation to improve productivity while maintaining exceptional service.
* Strengthening communication across the Meetings & Events operation, encouraging the team to take responsibility for delivering seamless events from start to finish.
* Driving sales, controlling costs and consistently achieving or exceeding departmental targets.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Has strong Food & Beverage management experience within a quality 4-star hotel.
* Has a proven track record of leading busy restaurant, bar and banqueting operations.
* Is passionate about coaching, mentoring and developing people.
* Enjoys improving standards and implementing positive change.
* Has excellent commercial awareness and isn't afraid of a busy operation or ambitious targets.
* Leads by example and inspires teams to deliver consistently outstanding guest experiences.
