Night Manager
Location: East London
Salary: £32,000 basic + tips + commission + upselling bonusesOur client is looking for an experienced Night Manager to join their busy hotel in East London area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong hotel operations background who enjoys taking ownership of the overnight shift and delivering excellent guest service.
Reporting into the Hotel Management team, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the hotel overnight, ensuring guests receive a welcoming, safe and professional experience while overseeing all night operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the hotel during the night shift.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues and the property.
- Complete the nightly audit accurately and efficiently.
- Lead, support and develop the overnight team.
- Act as the main point of contact for guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Communicate effectively with all hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare clear handovers for the daytime management team.
- Respond confidently to any overnight incidents or emergencies.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Night Manager, Night Supervisor or Senior Front Office professional within a hotel.
- Experience completing night audit and financial reconciliations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Experience using hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
- The ability to work independently, make decisions and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work permanent night shifts.
