Up to £90,000 + Bonus & BenefitsJWR is currently recruiting for an experienced General Manager to lead a high-profile, full-service hotel in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused hotel leader with a strong background in branded, city-centre or large full-service properties.
As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of the hotel, leading a large team and driving standards across rooms, food & beverage, meetings and events.
The Role
- Full responsibility for hotel performance, profitability and guest experience
- Deliver revenue, GOP, budget and market share targets
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing management team
- Drive standards across rooms, F&B, meetings and events
- Develop commercial opportunities and maximise all hotel revenue streams
- Work closely with sales, revenue and marketing teams
- Manage budgets, forecasting, payroll and P&L performance
- Drive guest satisfaction and online reputation
- Maintain high operational, brand and compliance standards
- Build strong relationships with owners and key stakeholders
The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Hotel General Manager, Hotel Manager or senior operational leader who can demonstrate:
- General management experience within a quality full-service hotel
- Strong branded hotel experience
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen
- Proven delivery of revenue and profit growth
- Experience managing significant rooms, F&B and meetings/events operations
- Strong leadership and people-development skills
- Experience leading large, multi-functional hotel teams
- Excellent stakeholder and owner-management capability
- A hands-on, energetic and commercially driven leadership style
Previous experience with a major international hotel brand would be highly advantageous.
Salary: Up to £90,000
