General Manager - Branded Full-Service Hotel

JWR is recruiting an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead a branded, 120-bedroom full-service hotel with a substantial conference and banqueting operation.

This opportunity will suit a commercially focused General Manager with strong experience across hotel operations, food and beverage, and large-scale banqueting. You will take full responsibility for the hotel's performance, combining visible leadership with a clear focus on revenue growth, profitability and guest satisfaction.

The Role

* Lead all hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, conference and banqueting, and maintenance.
* Manage the hotel P&L, budgets, forecasting, payroll and operating costs.
* Drive occupancy, average room rate and RevPAR alongside the commercial team.
* Grow food and beverage, conference and banqueting revenue.
* Develop department heads and build an engaged, service-focused team.
* Maintain brand standards and deliver consistent guest experiences.
* Ensure effective health and safety, food safety and statutory compliance.
* Build strong relationships with owners, brand representatives and key stakeholders.

About You

* Proven experience as a General Manager within a branded, full-service hotel.
* A strong background in managing substantial conference and banqueting operations.
* Confident hotel P&L management, with evidence of improving revenue and profitability.
* Broad operational knowledge across rooms, food and beverage, and events.
* A hands-on leadership style and a track record of developing successful teams.
* Experience delivering brand standards alongside commercial targets.
