This is a fantastic opportunity for a Restaurant Manager who enjoys being involved from the beginning, helping to establish the service standards, recruit and develop the team and create a restaurant with a real identity.
The restaurant will deliver modern Mediterranean cuisine at 2 AA Rosette standard, combining excellent food with relaxed, knowledgeable and engaging service.
As Restaurant Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation, working closely with the Executive Chef and senior hotel management team to ensure the restaurant becomes a destination in its own right.Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the opening and ongoing operation of the new restaurant
* Recruiting, training and developing the restaurant team
* Establishing exceptional service standards from day one
* Working closely with the kitchen to deliver a seamless guest experience
* Managing labour, costs and departmental profitability
* Driving guest satisfaction, repeat business and reputation
* Maintaining standards expected of a 2 AA Rosette operation
* Creating a warm, professional and personality-led style of serviceThe successful Restaurant Manager will ideally have experience within a quality hotel or independent restaurant operating at 2 AA Rosette level or above. You will be commercially aware, confident leading a team and passionate about food, wine and outstanding hospitality.
Previous new-opening or restaurant-launch experience would be particularly advantageous.
