Restaurant Manager - 4*, 50bed Hotel - 2AA Rosette - to £28K + Grats
I am currently looking for a talented Restaurant Manager to work for our client based in the North Hamshire / Basingstoke area
My client is looking for someone with demonstrable experience of managing a 60 cover - 2AA rosette restaurant offering within a luxury boutique hotel environment.

The Role:
As the Restaurant Manager you'll report to the Food and Beverage Manager and will be primarily responsible for restaurant, room service and lounge. You will also assist with promotion and menu planning, drive revenue and liaise with other members of hotel team to successfully execute food and beverage operations. You will also strive to ensure guest and associate satisfaction is achieved while maintaining the operational budget.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Building and managing the team and delivering their job satisfaction
- Delivering exceptional guest care
- Maintaining and enhancing the guest experience through a natural hands on approach to service
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Restaurant Manager role will have relevant experience of managing an award wining food offering within a luxury hotel environment.
You'll also need experience of:
- Building and managing a team to ensure the guest experience is second to none
- Delivering strong results through the effective setting and monitoring of performance goals for your teams
- Managing restaurants in luxury hotels or stand alone award winning restaurants in the UK ideally at 1-2AA rosette level.
In addition, it's essential that you possess the following:
- A track record in operating 4* quality hotels
- A strong understanding of budgets and control of costs
- Passion for excellent customer care
You'll also need to be able to take control of the business whilst developing the team to deliver excellent standards of service to guests and be a resilient manager who can not only think on your feet but also not lose track of long term goals.

This position could be right for you if you want to work as either a Food And Beverage Operations Manager or as a Food Services Manager.
The Package:
Basic salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience
Bonus: An additional bonus is also available if the company hits certain targets - full details of the scheme will be revealed on application
