My client is a stunning 19th century stately home incorporating 170bed rooms and one of the finest wedding and events venue in the country, based on the Hertfordshire/Bucks border currently looking for a Live Events Manager

The Role:
The Live Events Manager will play a vital role in delivering a great events experience to all hotel, wedding and event guests, they will have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed guest expectations.
They will act as an ambassador for the hotel by providing assistance to guests with any requirements they may have whilst staying at the hotel or during events, problem solving any issues and providing information to guests for on or off site activities and attractions.
Responsibilities Include
- Overseeing the visitor journey both digitally and on-site and dealing with the planning to live events up to 10K people, supplier selection for the fabric and infrastructure of large events
- Manage all current events including strategy, planning, marketing, execution, operational delivery and feedback
- Manage budget for the events and ensure the financial success of each event
- Develop, implement, and manage new programmes and events
- Explore and develop opportunities for deeper, longer lasting engagement programmes such as loyalty schemes and membership
- Build a team of volunteers that can support across programmes and events
The successful candidate:
* The successful Events Manager will be positive and engaging, highly customer focused who can motive and manage the Events team.
* The successful Events Manager will have experience of working in large ideally listed or heritage venue/music/literary/history festivals/hotel/site.
